Nicky Blair’s Carnival Room was a vibrant, circus-themed nightclub and dinner cabaret that opened in 1945 in New York City, perfectly capturing the postwar nightlife boom in Times Square. Owned and operated by Nicky Blair (real name Nicholas Macario), a Brooklyn-born restaurateur and impresario with roots in Prohibition-era speakeasies, it quickly became a hotspot for madcap entertainment blending vaudeville, burlesque, and circus acts.
