The Red Apple Rest was an iconic, permanently closed roadside travel stop in Tuxedo, New York, known for its giant red apple sign and its location on the route to The CatskillsIt was a popular spot for hundreds of thousands of travelers on their way to the Catskills and was considered a part of Borscht Belt culture before it closed its doors in 2006. As of 2025, the building remains in its original location, though it has been partially demolished.
